At the Hasso Plattner Institute Potsdam, unique practice- and innovation-oriented study programs are combined with state-of-the-art methods and excellent research in cooperation with industry and commerce.
The research and development work of in the field of Learning Engineering is directed to create novel virtual learning environments by designing, implementing, and testing innovative Internet-based forms of teaching and learning to support students and learners to acquire new knowledge. Results are incorporated and tested in the self developed MOOC platform openHPI and the lecture portal tele-TASK, to name only 2 of them.
