Description:

The SecureHospitals.eu Workshop 1 from JOIN is held as an Austrian-wide videoconference and focused on raising awareness for cybersecurity in people, who are working in the field of health care. In this workshop, participants will learn about the potential threats of the cyber-world and how to avoid them. With a small tabletop exercise, the sensibility and understanding for cybersecurity shall be put into practice. Identification of threats, understanding of potential, proper reaction.


Agenda:

1) Meaning of cybersecurity in health care

2) Potential threats by external aggressors and how to notice this

3) Potential threats by internal aggressors and how to notice this

4) How to avoid and how to react to incidents

5) Behavioural conformity with GDPR and personal safety when handling health data

6) Questions and answers on cybersecurity and data protection on the job


Format:

This workshop is planned as an Austrian wide video conference. As a training language it is decided to use German to reduce problems in understanding and to reduce the entrance barrier for participants. Chap. 1 is a presentation and explanation. The presentation will be available for download to the participants in advance for preparation. Chap. 2. will be a short introduction to the attack vectors and a training session with examples for practical take up of knowledge. Chap. 3. will follow the same procedure. Chap.4. is a presentation supported by examples. Chap. 5. is according to a guideline training as it is already well known in the organisations from training on medical products. Chap. 5 is an open session for discussion problems in the practical appliance of what they learned to their job and in their organisation. At the end of the training the participants are able to identify potential threats, know how to react to this threat according to the organisational culture and to be more aware in their daily routines where potential data breaches could be and to avoid potential failures.
